A quaint small hotel in the center of

A quaint small hotel in the center of Luxembourg city at the Place Guillaume. Public transport, which is free, is at a 5 minutes walking distance. The area has numerous restaurants and cafes. Absolutely walkable all around the hotel. 5 stars for location. The room is comfortable for a solo traveller. Breakfast menu can be improved - it's basic, bread butter jam cheese coffee cornflakes. The restaurant staff is attentive and remember the guests and their preferences the next day. The lift is available from midway climb up to 1st Floor. So if you have heavy bags, you'll need to carry them to the lift...a bit of a hassle. Overall I had a comfortable stay!

It's right above the Knuedler parking

It's right above the Knuedler parking garage and in the heart of the city centre where everything is walkable. Breakfast I personally loved since it's not a buffet but a tray with basic ingredients to start the day. Loved the cappuccino that they made. The hotel is above of many beautiful restaurants. It's simple, but for a solo traveller it's more than enough.

Forgot to take enough photos but will go ahead and describe it from memory. Location 4 ⭐ Super close to the main squares and the other tourist sites. Problem is, it's smack middle that it's noisy when there are activities in the square (and the two nights we spent there, there are activities). Room 2⭐ Good view of the square, but quite small overall. No air-conditioning, although a fan is provided. And with the lack of AC, we had to open the windows. Then comes the moths that's attracted by our light. The bathroom is pretty small as well, shower will fit one person without much wiggle room. Service 3⭐ Speedy check in and check out. The front desk is just alright, not too fond of inquiries from us, we probably requested too much water :)) Breakfast was alright - baguette, cold cuts, butter, cheese, yogurt, orange juice - enough to get the day going. Amenities 3⭐ Lift starts after the first floor, need to go up a narrow flight of stairs. Water refill available but need to ask from the counter. Able to borrow an iron from them. No gym. Quite alright if you like a convenient location, but not the most pleasant overall.

This is a very typical European hotel

This is a very typical European hotel. Front desk and restaurant staff were wonderfully kind and helpful. Location was terrific. Breakfast was the perfect starter for the day. Yes, you have to carry your bags up a few stairs to get to the elevator, but at least there was an elevator. My only complaint was the lumpy mattress which my back definitely did not like.

I've enjoyed my stay very much

I've enjoyed my stay very much. Was greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff, there is a working lift in case you are carrying a lot of luggage and the location is perfect. Plus: 1. Location 2. Friendly staff 3. Working lift 4. A big bed that made us feel we slept on a cloud ;) 5. Good WiFi 6. Sockets near the bed A small negative would be a lack of electric socket near the desk. Seems like a small oversight, but thankfully most laptop chargers can reach the desk if you plug them in the bathroom.
