Wow, what a great find. We were in Luxembourg for a day, and while roaming around looking for a lunch place, found Roma. It seemed quite full and the aromas pulled us in. We luckily found a table and we are glad we did. The service is awesome, friendly staff, and yummy food. We quickly gave up on our idea of a quick lunch and instead went for a multi course meal. For starters, beef tartar is the best I have had in a long while. The seafood salad was equally good. For the main course, we chose from the specials menu and both the sea bass and veal came out looking awesome, and were delicious. The presentation as you can see from the pictures is well picture worthy. For deserts we went with the classics. A tiramisu and an apple tart. Both well done and heavenly. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. A fun thing is that there’s a toy store right across the restaurant, and we really enjoyed watching the constant bevy of kids coming out with goodies. We thank the hosts and the staff for making our visit memorable through their good service and great food. Highly recommended.

We made a reservation in advance, the restaurant was a full of people. The design was quite traditional and cozy. The service depends on what language you speak. If you a foreigner and can’t speak French, German, don’t expect a good service. We had to ask every time to bring us a menu, then a wine, food, a bill, etc. And it was not one-time ask. One of the waiters turned his back to us, standing and talking approximately 5 minutes with the guests who were sitting close to us. Not a good view, actually. The food was ok, the wine was excellent. I liked minestrone, but my seafood pasta was floating in the creamy sauce. Probably this is their style of making pasta. For me it was unusual, not my cup of tea.

Highly recommend this restaurant. We were passing by Luxembourg on our way to Belgium and decided to make a quick stop. We saw Roma Restaurant across the street and decided to have lunch there. Totally exceeded our expectations, i will crave those cannelloni for a long time! Congrats to the chef! 🙏🏼👏🏻🤤

One of the oldest Italian restaurants in the city. The service is a bit slow, but very attentive and considerate. A bit odd that they give just 2 menus for the company of 5 people. Food is delicious, although appearance could be better. The choice of wines is not overwhelming, but all wines are of a good quality and reasonably priced. The interior is old fashioned, and it’s not an old Italian charm, just outdated.

I had lunch for mother’s day at Ristorante Roma in Luxembourg and I have had a delightful experience. The restaurant, located at 5 Rue Louvigny, offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our meal was perfect. Exceptionally, our dog was able to accompany us because our table was on the terrace part outside. We have had a great table allowing us to have a beautiful lunch. The mother’s day 5 course menu features a wide variety of Italian dishes, all prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. We started with Cannelloni alla Piemontese, which was beautifully presented and full of flavor. For the main course, I had the tagliata di code di rana (filet de lotte), which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by delicious side dishes. All dishes were a highlight, with rich and authentic flavors that transported us straight to Italy. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of Italian Franciacorta that paired nicely with our meal. Overall, Ristorante Roma is a must-visit for anyone in Luxembourg looking for an authentic Italian dining experience. The combination of excellent food, attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere makes it a top choice. I highly recommend it!
