Very nice menu choices and lovely staff. Highly suggested for lunch time as the starter+main plate+water/wine is €25 providing good quality for the price paid. I would suggest the pasta based plates over the meat or fish dishes as they have a more rich flavor and overall are more satisfactory from a taste perspective. The dinner menu seems a bit pricy for the plates that we tasted during lunch time, however it remains a nice restaurant for the lunch time. UPDATE: Recently came back for a second time during lunch time and it was even better than the first time.

The atmosphere was pleasant and the taste of olive oil and bread was a nice welcome. We ordered a very nice bottle of Batasiolo Granee Gavi that matched perfectly with the carpaccio of sword fish. Unfortunately the rest of the dinner was a little catastrophe! We waited for one hour a half to get our pasta: a carbonara with truffle that was an insult to Roma; too many mistakes and, although the taste was fine, it could not be defined carbonara. The pappardelle with truffle had a good texture but the taste was missing and I wasn’t expecting to find cream. The truffle was lacking intensity of flavour and it was too thick.

I tested this restaurant during the Restodays. The food was good but overall the menu lacked some originality and some “love” from the chef. The pasta hadn’t had much flavor and the sauce seemed as a tomato sauce from the supermarket. The starter was the best part about the menu, the dessert was a bit too sweet for my taste and the presentation was a bit disappointing. The restaurant itself has a lot of charm and the ambiente was very nice. Service was also very good and always brought new bread & were attentively.

The RestoDays menu 2024 has been an interesting journey that have tantalized the taste buds. Aa known the restaurant boasts an elegant setting, perfect for both festive weekends and intimate dinners. We were accompanied by our dog and he was highly welcomed. We have received a beautiful table away from the busy part. That way we were able to fully enjoy our diner while our dog was sleeping. The RestoDays menu is a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to freshness and quality. Highlights include the Crudo di mare, a delicate carpaccio of salmon marinated in orange, sesame, and mint, and the sea bass for 10€ more. For those with a sweet tooth, the MilleFoglie with red fruits and the Sorbetto che passione offer a refreshing end to the meal. A good wine out of the Puglia made the dinner complete. Overall, the experience is that Essenza Luxembourg during RestoDays 2024 has been culinary interesting. With its sumptuous dishes, attentive service, and a good ambiance, it’s a dining experience to repeat. We have not been disappointed. All good. Essenza remains a secure address if you look for a nice place to have good food.

Very cozy restaurant that is tucked away on the second floor of a building. Has both covered and open air seating, surrounded by classic construction brick/stone styling. Ravioli and tiramisu were both delicious. Also, I participated in wine bought for our entire party. I don't know the exact label, but it was a 2020 and red.... And delicious. Staff is very eager to please and success to make sure you have a great ambience/experience.
