Luxembourg
My car passed its controle technique but my view on the experience would be the same. - easy booking system - good availability of appointments - timely reminder of appointment - good sign postings on arrival - arrived early, reception was welcoming and clean - saw me straight away and appointment was completed within 30 minutes - even offer free tea and coffee whilst you wait

Perhaps include in the appointment email things to check before arrival to give the maximum chance of passing. As this was my first controle technique in Luxembourg I wasn’t familiar was the process but did google in advance.
