AVOID if you have beautiful long hair

AVOID if you have beautiful long hair, wanting natural highlights... you will leave looking like a bottle of bleach was dumped on your head. I first went to Peppe back in January for a haircut, 1 day after I got my hair highlighted at my usual salon Centro. Peppe had a lot of comments about my highlights, and told me that he was really good at highlights and for my next time, I should consider him. So, when I couldn't get a last minute appointment before a socially committed weekend at Centro, I decided to make an appointment with Peppe for a cut and highlights... WORST mistake I have made with my hair since the age of 15 when I did a home job by colouring it blue black... Attached are my very very bleached blond hair the morning after my appointment with Peppe in June. Nothing natural about it, roots even yellow and dark, and all of my previous highlights are erased and gone. The other picture is from before going to Peppe... During the consultation he asked if I wanted him to apply colour to my roots, and I clearly said 'no' that I wanted to keep my highlights and want to look natural. He asked if I wanted lighter tones in my highlights for summer, and we agreed that he would add some lighter tones. So, he divided my hair and started with the highlighting process while `I was reading my book. The next thing I noticed was that he stopped dividing the hair into high lighting sections and starting painting and massaging the blond colour into thicker chunks of hair. "a new method" he assured me. My hair was cut while my head was upside down, my hair was dried with my head upside down, so the horror when he turned the chair to show me. He asked if I liked it, and I said it was too blond, to which he responded, yes it is very blond. I thought that the colour would settle and left the salon. The next morning I decided to find a hairdresser who could apply low-lights as the idea of walking around with yellow bleached hair, and dark roots was just too tacky. I was saved by Alex at Bubbles (my lovely hairdresser at Centro on holiday). Peppe is aware that I am unhappy, he offered to 'fix' it free of charge... but only 3 years of hair growth will get rid of this bleach hair. I have asked for a refund, but am simply ignored. BEST TO AVOID!

I've gotten my hair done throughout my travels around the world and Peppe is by far the best of the best. I honestly cannot recommend him enough. I first started going to him last year when my hair was breaking apart & damaged and he's completely transformed it. He understands hair in a way I haven't known anyone else to. The only way I can explain from how I've experienced it is that for him, it's truly an art & a passion and this shines through in his work.

Amazing place :-) Peppe always understands what you want to do with your hair and what will suit you the best. The atmosphere and all people there are very friendly & warm, so your day immediately gets better :-)

I made an appointment for 2pm and was

I made an appointment for 2pm and was told “10 minutes wait” repeatedly until I had waited 55 minutes. I was about to just leave but another hairdresser said they could cut my hair. He rushed it in under 15 minutes and then charged me full price without even an apology from the person I booked my appointment with. It’s a shame, because I really like getting my hair cut there and now I don’t think I will be going back again. Edit: have had a proper look in the mirror and the fringe isn’t even cut straight!
