“Everything was amazing. Beautiful professional staff, great location and high service!”
“The dining room is still as magnificent as ever, as is the bar. The reception could use some improvement. I was initially turned away because the restaurant was apparently full, but after booking ten minutes later through my Marriott account, I was able to get a table without any problems at 2:30 p.m.”
“As always an amazing job done by my favourite master Yuliia who I can follow anywhere! I was so happy when she told me that she goes to Strassen as it is so comfy by my location. I was also shocked that they have literally everything in there and now I can close all my needs at once which is sooo time consuming. All staff is charming and I can’t wait to try them all!!!!”
“I was waiting to make endosphere for a long time and finally I found a place with a good one. The master Alona is a big professional and I can’t wait to come back soon!”
“Brasserie Alfa is spanking new. It has the golden glitter, marble floors, with a true luxury brasserie feel. I guess it was renovated recently. The interior is spotless and you are instantly transformed to a high class French comfort food dining experience. Expectations are high. The service was friendly and prompt. Thomas - our server - had a lot of questions for us but at the end of the day, he was able to provide a quality service. But now, let's get to the food. This is your middle-of-the-line French comfort food with a bit of American bend. The escargot was okay, but not mind-blowing. The snails were a bit on the skinny side. But the garlic seasoning was standard. The beef fat fries was also better than your average fries but not top notch. And the fried fish, the trout, was again, bland and standard. The sauce that came with it gave a bit of flavor but again, this isn't the a top notch restaurant as the interior suggests. At a premium price-point, Brasserie Alfa needs to step up its game if it wants to win over taste buds and not just visuals. Oh, the pecan pie was top notch. Definitely steered the review to a upward trajectory but I guess it was a bit too late. If it's your first time in Luxembourg and staying at the Marriott, it's worth a visit. Otherwise, I'd say it doesn't deserve a detour.”
“Big thanks to the ladies who made my lashes and hair, they were so welcoming and treated me with warm and professionalism. The salon is cosy and beautiful. As I am living in Strassen, now that is my favourite spot to do everything at any available time, as they also have literally everything that the girls need”
“The location is TOP. Salon is super big and beautiful. Everything was amazing, cosmetologist Yelyzaveta was so nice and helpful. We did the laser treatment and I can say that it was done perfectly and with no pain. I had very bad experience previously in other salons with their lasers but this one in Strassen worked perfectly for me and I left only with a good mood!”
“I ate at Brasserie Alfa with a group of 5 friends. We were taken aback by the beauty of the restaurant, the renovation was so well done and true to the original Art Nouveau decor, with an elegant and modern twist. The food was French classic, but you can find also more international dishes. Every dish was well executed, tasty and elegant. A special mention to the pâté en croûte, homemade by the chef with its pickles, and to the confit de canard. Service was smooth and up to the standard of the restaurant, so you get the real French experience for a fair price in Luxembourg. I would consider going back for a romantic dinner, but also for a family celebration or even for a quick drink at the bar.”
“Thanks to the Chef & team for awesome Food!”
“The team was gracious in accommodating me even outside of regular dining hours, and the bartender went above and beyond by crafting some exceptional cocktails just for me.”
“Everything was great! The staff was really friendly and welcoming, and it was really nice to have a chat. The food was also delicious and varied. From a good coffee to a tartelette with raspberries and soup, they have everything! Always happy to come back :)”
“Amazing sandwiches!”
“We came, with colleagues, to get a dish of the day, it was very good. Friendly welcome. To redo”
“Nice café, wonderful plants, helpful staff”
“The staff is pleasant and the service is friendly and helpful. Thumbs up. I recommend this shop”
“🥖🥖🥙🥙🥙The charming little corner of our city that once housed the beloved La Table du Pain has been reborn as Les Délices de la Boulangerie. This reopening brings not just nostalgia but a refreshing gust of culinary excellence that promises to captivate both loyal patrons and new visitors alike. As you step into Les Délices de la Boulangerie, the welcoming aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries envelops you. The interior retains the rustic charm of its predecessor, with warm wooden accents and cozy seating, but now it boasts a modern twist with elegant light fixtures and a more open, inviting layout. The sandwich menu, undoubtedly the heart of this bakery, showcases a delightful blend of tradition and innovation. Each sandwich is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, using the freshest ingredients sourced locally whenever possible. On my visit, I had the pleasure of sampling three standout offerings: 1. **Le tomate mozza basilic**: This sandwich is a timeless favorite, featuring thinly sliced tomatoed, creamy mozzarella, and a smear of basilic sauce on a perfectly crusty baguette. The balance of flavors is impeccable, with the richness of the mozzarella complementing the saltiness of the sauce, all harmonized by the tomatoes. Beyond the sandwiches, Les Délices de la Boulangerie offers a delightful array of pastries and baked goods that are simply irresistible. The croissants are buttery and flaky, the tarts are bursting with seasonal fruits, and the cookies have a perfect balance of chewiness and crunch. The reopening of this establishment is a testament to the enduring”
“Everything was very tasty, the prices were very good for the quality 👍 Overall very good 👍”
“Really nice and helpful staff, was taking wood for a campfire and the lady leant me her trolley to carry the wood out. Was reasonably priced as well. The shops are split into 3 buildings, so make sure you go into one that you need!”
“Coffee, cakes, plant shop and vegetables from local farms. What a gem”
“Informal bar with an Irish theme, but for those die hards looking for a true Irish pub experience, best waiting until you are in Ireland. Prompt service €7-8 a pint in keeping with local rates. Clean. Quick drink or good for a small group.”
“Good vibe at this downtown pub. Darts, Foosball, and many multinational beers on tap. Worth your time to stop in for a pint or 2. Very kind staff.”
“Well this bar was amazing. The music was great, in the city centre near to the bus station, this bar has everything. Pool, football table, darts, sofas, comfortable sits and a good range of beers. The atmosphere was very nice. We had a good time in there. I recommend this pub.”
“Great beer and service. Friendly bar staff”
“Great music selection, nice for watching football matches. Beer selection gr8, what is a nice thing - generally no smoking indoors in Lux, so for a tourist - a shocking no-fog experience of a rock-club 😄”
“Lovely place in Limpertsberg. Very friendly ambience. Got the black burger box to take away and it was delicious. The sauce and flavours overall was amazing. I’ll be back to try the pizzas soon.”
“The owners are very kind and the food is very good.”
“Subscribed to Tourismo for several months, I am delighted! Wide choice of cars that are always impeccable, easy booking via the app, and responsive customer service. A practical and hassle-free service”
