It is indeed an ideal spot to relish the performances. We had an excellent experience in the bistro. The entire staff and patrons were incredibly amicable. They advised us to keep our personal effects within close reach, as the vicinity was bustling during that period. Despite Luxembourg's stringent security measures, we highly valued their concern. The salads were extremely crisp, generously topped with scampis and an array of cheeses. The meal was truly delectable. Highly recommended. Furthermore, the ambiance of the bistro was warm and inviting, making us feel instantly at home. The decor was tastefully done, reflecting the vibrant culture of the city. Our meal was served promptly, and the presentation was impressive. The staff also suggested popular local dishes, showcasing their knowledge and passion for their city's cuisine. This pertains to the dining establishment situated on the hotel's first floor. We patronized it for our evening meal the previous day and it was satisfying. The restaurant was accommodating towards dogs, as we arrived with our young canine. The location exudes a charming, old-world ambiance and was abuzz with activity upon our entry. We commenced our meal with their soups, which were full-bodied and delectable. The main course was decent, but not particularly to my liking. However, this isn't a critique of the restaurant, rather it's a reflection of my personal preference. The combination of broad beans and ham in a broth didn't appeal to my palate. The service was somewhat sluggish and the personnel were preoccupied, resulting in us having to summon them repeatedly to request our bill when we wished to depart. Nevertheless, the pricing was quite affordable, especially given its prime location in the epicentre of the tourist hub. In summary, it was an enjoyable experience and one I would endorse. Adding to this, the ambiance of the restaurant was heightened by the soft, ambient lighting and the gentle hum of conversation. The decor was tastefully done, with attention given to the smallest details. We also appreciated the spacious layout of the restaurant, which allowed for a comfortable dining experience. The menu was extensive, offering a wide array of dishes to cater to various palates. Despite the slight hiccups with the service, the staff was polite and professional. The ambiance here is exceedingly pleasant, the beverages provided are toasty and exquisite, all the staff members are notably amiable and courteous. The establishment's location is quite accessible, precisely situated in the heart of the city. Should my travels bring me back to Luxembourg in the future, it would be my absolute pleasure to return to this place once more. Moreover, the warmth and hospitality displayed by the well-trained staff make you feel instantly at home, adding to the overall charm of the place. The menu, which boasts a variety of hot and tantalizing drinks, is another feather in the cap of this establishment. Revised information from 10th April - Easter Monday - we kept waiting for our food for 2 hours. Would not prefer to drop by this venue on high traffic days. The pasta from the kids' menu was exceptionally cold with no cheese topping, had to request for cheese which was served separately, it didn't improve the flavor. The hamburger was damp and fell apart. In general, wouldn't vouch for this place on significant occasions. 'Patience being the key to fine dining' certainly applies to this eatery. Customer Service 💁- We visited the place for Christmas lunch therefore it was bustling and that affected the service. Food was freshly prepared but due to sluggish service, it was not sufficiently warm. Cuisine 🍴 We ordered 1) Christmas festive meal, the meals were packed with flavors and the portions were suitable for one individual 2) Hamburger - I opted for a medium well steak, the meat was soft, succulent and delicious 3) Scampi Pasta had a subtle taste but the scampi's were perfectly cooked. The outdoor seating area is perfect for those looking to enjoy their meal amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. I thoroughly enjoy visiting this establishment for my delightful cappuccino chantilly. The cuisine doesn't quite knock my socks off, but nonetheless, it remains a highly agreeable location to frequent in the heart of downtown Luxembourg. The atmosphere is inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed afternoon coffee break. Despite the fact that the food is not extraordinary, it is decent enough to complement the coffee perfectly. The service is very friendly and efficient, and while the café is situated in the bustling center of the city, its ambiance carries a certain tranquility that makes it a great escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The cappuccino chantilly is a must-try, and its creamy, frothy texture is a delight to the taste buds. So, if you are ever in downtown Luxembourg, do yourself a favor and drop by this charming place for a much-needed caffeine fix and a dash of tranquility in the midst of the city’s vibrant energy.
