For my birthday, I decided to pay another visit to a restaurant that was highlighted in the Michelin guide. This was my inaugural visit, which is frequently the case, and it was quite a revelation. I opted for a dish that I had never tried before - chicken with basil leaves and a curry sauce - and the taste was absolutely delightful. Indeed, the cost is marginally higher than usual, but the difference is relatively insignificant. The menu boasts a wide array of choices, which is another positive attribute. The décor of the restaurant, while inviting, is rather unexceptional, but that doesn't detract from its charm! The restaurant's standout feature is undoubtedly the high quality of its food. I came across a few critiques suggesting that the portion sizes are somewhat small, but in my experience, our servings were perfectly satisfactory. The restaurant's distinctiveness lies in its elevated culinary standards and an extensive menu that caters to a variety of tastes. The pricing, though slightly higher than average, is justified by the superior quality of food and the overall dining experience. The interior design, while comfortable, lacks any unique features, yet this is not necessarily a negative aspect. It maintains a certain charm and adds to the overall ambiance. While I have come across some reviews expressing dissatisfaction with the portion sizes, I found them to be quite adequate. The quantity was sufficient and in line with my expectations. In conclusion, this restaurant left a lasting impression and it's certainly worth a visit. The combination of great food, a wide variety of choices, and a cozy atmosphere make it a perfect destination for a memorable dining experience.

My boyfriend and I decided to dine at this establishment this evening, marking our inaugural visit. We had the privilege of being the initial patrons to step foot inside, creating this intimate atmosphere where it felt like we had exclusive possession of the entire restaurant. The interior was impeccably designed, exuding a pleasant and welcoming aura. The employees at this establishment were exceedingly friendly and demonstrated a high level of attentiveness, ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of amazing. Their outstanding service left a positive impression on us. However, our experience was slightly marred by the starter for two, which failed to meet our gastronomic expectations. The quality didn't appear to match the price tag, leading us to believe it was somewhat overvalued. For my main course, I opted for a fish dish, which turned out to be incredibly tasty, exceeding my expectations. In contrast, my boyfriend went for the spicy grilled beef, which was just as delightful. In retrospect, despite the minor setback with the appetizer, the overall experience was largely positive. The combination of an inviting atmosphere, exceptional service, and delectable main courses certainly made up for the initial disappointment. Hence, I wouldn't hesitate to endorse this restaurant. It offers a great dining experience that is worth exploring for anyone who appreciates good food in a comfortable setting. Whether it's for a special occasion or a simple dinner, this restaurant is sure to provide a memorable experience.

The BAMBOU DU MÉKONG meal was utterly bland. It was expected to be fiery and full of spice. It was supposed to contain peanuts, crab meat, and chicken pieces. However, there was only a meager amount of some ingredients and absolutely no trace of crab. I couldn't even muster up the enthusiasm to finish it. I raised my concerns to the restaurant staff, but they showed a complete lack of concern or interest. The main course was passable, though. Additionally, I had high expectations for the BAMBOU DU MÉKONG dish to tantalize my taste buds with a mix of spicy and savory flavors. Surely, the dish should have been enhanced with the crunchiness of peanuts, the delicate sweetness of crab, and the succulence of chicken. To my disappointment, some elements were barely present, while the crab was entirely missing. I left the dish unfinished due to its lack of appeal. I voiced my disappointment to the service personnel, however, they seemed indifferent and unresponsive. The main dish was somewhat acceptable, but definitely not extraordinary.

We enjoyed a mid-day repast in the company of our office mates. It's a pleasant and tranquil spot. The service was swift and exhibited refined manners. The fare was delightful, with the seasoning expertly balanced, and it wasn't overly rich. I'm subtracting one star due to the minuscule portion of vegetables that came with the meat-based entrée. I'm also docking one star in terms of service because, despite the fact that sorbet 🍦 is listed on the menu, getting even a single scoop was out of the question. Moreover, this dining establishment doesn't provide any special lunchtime pricing. Therefore, be ready to fork over approximately 40 euros for a primary course, plain water, and a cup of joe. Additionally, it's worth noting that the ambiance of the place was truly inviting, with tasteful décor that made us feel at ease. The staff was highly professional, displaying an impressive level of attentiveness without being intrusive. Every dish was well-presented, demonstrating a clear focus on both taste and visual appeal. Despite the slight disappointments, it was a dining experience worth repeating. However, it would be wise to keep in mind that this isn't a budget-friendly option if you're looking for a regular lunch spot. So, while the food and service were commendable, the cost and lack of lunch deal might deter some potential patrons.

We find it impossible to endorse this eatery, despite our residence being in close proximity and our commitment to bolster the local economy... Our encounter would have been considerably more enjoyable had we opted to purchase the pre-packaged Thai cuisine from the local grocery stores... Not a single thing can rationalize the astronomical charges for such inferior quality. With the amount they charge, we could have afforded a round trip to Thailand, indulged in a lavish dinner there, and returned on a traditional Tuk Tuk. Further, the staff seemed indifferent and the service was subpar. The ambiance too, failed to impress us, it lacked the authentic Thai charm that we were expecting. The food lacked the quintessential Thai flavors and failed to satiate our taste buds. The portions were also relatively small considering the price we paid. The restaurant lacked cleanliness, and the restrooms were not maintained well. The menu was quite limited and didn't offer the wide range of Thai cuisine that we were anticipating. We were utterly disappointed by the lack of attention to detail, which is a crucial aspect of the dining experience. In addition, the waiting time was excessively long and our orders were mixed up. The management needs to take some serious measures to improve the overall quality of their service and food. On this basis, we regret to say that we do not foresee ourselves returning to this establishment in the near future.
