Wasserbillig Aquarium

A small but nice aquarium, plenty of interesting species

It will seem very small if you've ever been to any kind of Oceanarium, though for our 4 y.o. son it was enough to watch some species that he has never seen naturally swimming (like piranhas or sea horses) 😍 To my surprise, we spent quite a lot of time there watching the fish ❤️ The only thing is that aquariums are stillvery tall for 1 meter height child. Indeed there are chairs everywhere to stand on, though be ready to raise your child on your hands to observe the colorful fish :)

Nice small aquarium with parking next to it, a restaurant and a playground for kids. Don’t expect this to be the aquarium like ones in big cities otherwise you will be sorely disappointed. Great for kids to have a look and then they can play in the playground or you can take a nice walk along the river behind the building. Also only 3€ for entry which is reasonable considering how small it is (children under certain age are free, mine was 17 months old).

It’s rather small, but very nice place. The staff were super friendly and excited to give you some more information.

We expected much more based on reviews and pictures. There are only two small rooms with several aquariums. Some fish are interesting but nothing big to expect. And especially the second room and aquariums looked very old. With the Luxembourg card you've got the entrance for free and next to the Aquarium there is a nice playground for your kids.
