The primary motivation behind my decision to award just 1 star is the extortionate cost they imposed upon me: they demanded 47 Euro for a mere haircut that took just 30 minutes! I'm of the conviction that such a situation is simply untenable. While the quality of the haircut was satisfactory, the service was overly rushed and did not justify the 47 Euro price tag. I feel compelled to seek out an alternative barber shop, possibly even beyond the confines of Luxembourg, and I am determined to do so. In addition, the staff's attitude left much to be desired. They were not as friendly as I would have expected, considering the high price I was paying. This added to my overall disappointment with the experience. The ambiance of the salon also seemed a little off to me. Despite the upscale price tag, the environment was not as comfortable or inviting as one would expect. It felt more like a quick in-and-out operation, rather than a place where one can relax and enjoy the service. Furthermore, I was also taken aback by the lack of transparency about the pricing before the service was provided. I would have appreciated it if they had been upfront about the cost, instead of surprising me with an exorbitant bill at the end. This incident has taught me a valuable lesson to always ask for the pricing details beforehand. In conclusion, while the haircut was not bad per se, the overall experience was far from satisfactory. It is not just about the end product, but also the process and the price, which in this case, were both disappointing. Therefore, I find myself in the position of needing to search for a new barber, likely outside of Luxembourg. This will undoubtedly be a task, but I am resolute in my decision.
