The savoury sauce and crispy fries that were supposed to enhance the flavour of the mussels were equally underwhelming, to say the least. Moreover, the level of professionalism displayed by the staff was less than satisfactory. There was a particular incident when we gestured to the server indicating that we were ready to settle our bill. He acknowledged our signal with a nod, but then proceeded to walk away without uttering a word, leaving us in a state of confusion and uncertainty about the next course of action. Approximately ten minutes later, a different server finally decided to approach us so we could pay for our meal and conclude our visit. This level of service was certainly not up to par with our expectations and left a sour taste in our mouths. Therefore, based on my personal experience, I would not endorse this establishment to anyone looking for a quality dining experience. I am convinced that there are numerous other locations throughout the city that offer superior culinary delights and a more professional and attentive service.

Every bite was meticulously crafted to perfection, however, the sea bass was exceptionally noteworthy. This dining area was a feast not only for our stomachs but also our eyes, surrounded by a warm, welcoming ambience that complemented the dining experience. The staff was courteous and attentive, striving to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of memorable. Their dedication to providing superior service was evident in their keen attention to detail. In addition to the seafood, we also sampled a variety of other dishes that only served to enhance our culinary journey. The menu was a testament to the chef's dedication to creating dishes that celebrate the freshest ingredients and their natural flavors. Upon the inaugural day of the festive Christmas season, I found myself dining at this restaurant. The ambiance is truly captivating and it boasts an advantageous geographical positioning. However, the service left much to be desired. Upon our arrival (despite having made a reservation and being able to show up early), our table was not prepared. Given the circumstances we were in, this was a forgivable oversight. However, upon completing the table setup, they overlooked certain essentials such as wine glasses, standard drinking glasses, and even table condiments like salt and pepper. After a prolonged wait of 35 minutes within the premises, we were finally able to place a beverage order. We requested wine and half a litre of water. Regrettably, the glass I received for the water was unsanitary, marred with stains. Subsequently, we placed an order for our meal. Upon its arrival, we found the food to be delectably prepared. However, the dessert course was a peculiar affair. My mother had requested a bowl of ice cream, but was served a meager portion of just two small scoops (a serving size more appropriate for a child) yet we were still charged the full 12 euros. Following our grievance, she was served the correct dessert. Upon the arrival of the bill, a customary check revealed that there were three desserts listed, even though we had only consumed two. Similarly, my mother had ordered an 8 euro red wine, but was erroneously charged 15 euros for a completely different type of wine. After pointing out these discrepancies, the establishment rectified the bill to reflect our actual orders, following which we settled the payment and departed. The employees are personable, with one appearing particularly flustered, and another who was remarkably helpful, despite his limited proficiency in English.

It was so outstanding, we decided to forego our dinner booking for the subsequent day and made a return visit to Brasserie La Lorraine. Everything was beyond reproach. The setting of the restaurant, the assortment of dishes offered, the impeccable service, and the sumptuous food. All aspects were deserving of a perfect score of 10/10. I would wholeheartedly endorse this restaurant to anyone. Moreover, the ambiance of the restaurant was welcoming and warm, making us feel at home. The staff was extremely professional, attentive, and friendly, catering to all our needs with a smile. The variety in the menu was impressive, with a selection of dishes that catered to every palate. From the appetizers to the main course and the desserts, every dish was prepared to perfection, pleasing not only our taste buds but also our eyes with their beautiful presentation.
