Camping site was lacking in care and attention. Needs to be updated desperately. No water tap to fill up motorhome. Had to take rollalong to laundry to fill up. The showers (2) and toilets (2) were clean but hot water was timed for 5 minutes !! Site manager/owner was not friendly and needs to update his people skills Would not return, and do not recommend Mr and Mrs King 9 April 2024

We called a day before to check availability, we explained that we have a small camper and that we are coming from far away. They said ok and we started our journey. We traveled over 250 km and when we arrived they told us that unfortunately they cannot accommodate us because our car is not officially registered as a camper. It was first time for us to hear such a thing! We asked them to stay only for that night as we were tired from traveling and they refused with the excuse that it is state rules they have to follow. Very rude the man at the reception who looked extremely irritated and as if he doesn't want to help us for his own reasons, the lady gave us 2 names from different campsites that maybe they can accept us there. Finally we found somewhere else without objections or excuses for official registration etc. The concept of customer service proved to be unfamiliar to them, fortunately not to everyone.

Tent site, muddy and very uneven. Right next to a major road (noise!). Relatively far from facilities. In the middle of July, and the bistro was closed 3-4hrs before advertised, if even open at all. Swimming pool dirty and closed, again middle of July. Overall bad looking camping grounds, with old cars, long grass and such at the many permanent residents. Facilities were nice and clean.

Not worth the cost (at all). Their pictures on Google and when you make your reservation shows a beautiful pool as well as all maps etc. indicates a pool being there. Huge deal for family with kids. Only after we arrived and paid for our stay, the manager just said ‘no pool’ when asked about where to find the pool. The pool is in deed there, but is left unattented and is nasty an unusable. Manager seemed angry and was very unfriendly. Didn’t even look up from his computer when we arrived and tried to check in. Kept mumbling in Dutch despite us talking to him in English and clearly not understanding a single word he said. Didn’t get a receipt and zero reduction in price despite the pool being unusable. The place really needs some tidying up and a huge amount of TLC to be even remotely recommendable again. Sad to say that we can not in any way recommend this place. Huge disappointment. Entire place looks like something out of a horror movie.

We had booked for 1 night (transit) apparently the owner was not mindful that we were on a motorcycle and would be staying in a tent. We did not feel welcome, also we were asked to leave with an excuse. The grass would be broken if we set up our tents, that was his reason for sending us away again. Bit bizarre because we had already made an online booking several weeks before. By the way, we did get the camping fee back but it certainly wasn't appropriate to send us away again. This is not a motorcycle friendly campground although the owner claims it is.
