I have been sitting here now almost on hour 3 after my ‘appointment’ time which was at 10:30 am. Apparently that was to just sit down with the customer service rep and sign some paperwork, and has nothing to do with the mechanic’s schedule who are apparently behind. I don’t know how a company of such size and magnitude who does this day in and day out doesn’t have the capacity to refine their scheduling and resources. The rep was also surprised that I wanted to take my keys and come back when they are ready to service my car. There is simply no sense of urgency or consideration for the fact that most people don’t have all day to sit around. When I asked for an update after the 2-hour mark I was informed that they are updating some software or something in the vehicle which will take another 30 minutes. I wonder if they forgot and only just started now, as many customers have come and left having been serviced before me.
