Honestly for the price a fantastic stay. Check-in proces is very easy. We had a very spacious 3 adults room (can't beat it anywhere else for this price). The bathroom was clean but nothing fancy, a few amenities such as soap and shampoo is available. The beds were fine. In winter the heating works perfect so we can keep the windows closed to keep the noise out from the road. I had some questions before coming here and they were very quick to respond online. I will definitely look out to go to a Mühlengarten hotel again. I'd rather spend my money on eating out than a fancy hotel room. I can recommend the local bakery, they serve fresh coffee and breakfast for when Mühlengarten restaurant is closed. Parking lot is spacious and free. Small trainstation is next to the hotel to get here.

the rooms are ok, quite ok, I can recommend it. the only big minus is the lack of a kettle in the room and no fridge, the restaurant is closed, you won't be able to make anything hot to drink in the hotel. Currently, a kettle should always be in the room, especially when it is not possible to buy a coffee machine, etc. One more thing, the person cleaning the rooms always wakes up on the last day asking when I'm leaving 🤯👎 the hotel day is fixed, I don't care if someone wants to clean it, no there should be a place to wake up customers at 8am

For the price of €40 a night (the cheapest in the area), one can't ask for much, as it seems the low price comes at the expense of cutting down on lots of services. The room could do with some cooling system though. It was so hot, the windows had to be opened, but it didn't help that the hotel is just on the roadside and next to a train station.

Pros: A calm, nice and cozy little hotel with beautiful river views. The rooms are clean and spacious. Free parking. Easy access to Luxembourg by car at much cheaper prices. Cons: no wifi. No reception. No one to reach out to for any complaints or if anything goes wrong.

We stayed for 2 nights/3 days and I have a few complaints: - No hot water for showering: During the entire stay we showered with cold water. I experimented with turning the knob in all directions and I could feel a slight difference between the "warm" and cold sides. Showering was very cold and very unpleasant. - Terrible WiFi: The WiFi did not work at all from in the bathroom and in the room it was slow and difficult. I was frequently unable to load text based pages and photos took 45+ seconds sometimes. - On our last day, house-keeping woke us up at 7 am (well before checkout) by knocking and asking to clean the room. Leaves you with a feeling of being rushed out. - Loud rooms: This I don't really fault the hotel itself for too much, but I feel it's important to share with potential guests. It might be due to the age of the building, and our room placement, but I could hear sound coming in through the door very easily. I could also hear cars driving outside through the windows. However, the rooms are very beautiful, with nice balconies, and I did like this aspect. Pricing is too high for being unstaffed, and for 70€+ a night the other deficiencies (like the shower) are unacceptable. I also curiously read the other reviews before writing this one here (while I was already a guest), and I am quite surprised by how rudely the management reacts to any criticism. If we had been aware of this kind of behavior we would not have booked at all.
