Aal Schoul in Hobscheid is a real jewel of a restaurant, which is fancy and comfortable at once achieving an ideal balance that makes one feel special yet just like home. My last visit there was undoubtedly worth a 4.5 star rating out of 5. To start with, the atmosphere is great. The place looks absolutely sweet—refined but warm and inviting. It’s the kind of setting you would want to sit down and have a peaceful meal in. Also, we received great services during our time there. The staff were amazing; they were so friendly and attentive to us from beginning till end. Now, let’s move onto food and beverages. I began with homemade hibiscus and peach iced tea which totally blew me away. This drink was cool, tasty but not too sugary—a very nice way to begin my meal. I took a risk with my main meal and tried out the Cabillaud en Feuille de Nori. I must confess that it was rather odd for me at first, not in a horrible manner. This cod wrapped in nori on the other hand was completely new for me; though it stood out, I liked its originality and opportunity of experiencing difference things. However, the true hero of the occasion was the Popcorn signature dessert. It was fun, creative and absolutely mouthwatering. Every bite was a medley of tastes and textures. It’s one of those desserts you’ll remember for some time.In conclusion, Aal Schoul offers an enchanting dining experience with its sophisticated yet homely atmosphere, welcoming waiters/waitress and bold menu. Check it out when you are in Hobscheid; it is 4.5 / 5.This is well deserved!
