The extended delay for the sushi was quite frustrating. It required approximately sixty minutes to receive the initial batch of sushi (hot plates had arrived sooner). The sushi rice was excessively cooked, which consequently made the sushi not worthwhile the lengthy wait. The other culinary selections were enjoyable, just the sushi didn't meet expectations. The service was not particularly impressive, as the sushi portion of our meal took an inordinate amount of time to reach our table. This was especially noticeable since the warm dishes we had ordered were served promptly, leaving a stark contrast in the timing of the different elements of our meal. The quality of the sushi also left much to be desired, as the rice was overcooked to a degree that negatively impacted the overall taste and texture of the sushi. This was a significant disappointment, as the long wait had built up our expectations. However, it is worth noting that the other dishes we ordered were quite satisfactory. They were prepared well and had a pleasing taste, which stood in stark contrast to the disappointing sushi. Unfortunately, the sushi, which should have been the star of the meal, fell flat and did not live up to the standards set by the other dishes. In conclusion, while there were elements of our meal that were enjoyable, the long wait for the sushi and its subsequent poor quality significantly detracted from our overall dining experience.
