A prolonged period of waiting with

A prolonged period of waiting with merely a single individual ahead of you. In addition, not only does the time seem to stretch on endlessly, but the slow pace at which things are moving is frustrating. It feels as if the seconds are turning into minutes, and those minutes into hours. The wait is made even more unbearable by the fact that there's just one person standing between you and your turn. In this scenario, you may find yourself in a state of impatience, constantly checking your watch or the clock on the wall, silently urging it to move faster. The feeling of anticipation mixed with irritation can easily take over, making every passing moment feel like a lifetime. Moreover, although there's only one person in front of you, it feels as if an entire crowd is blocking your way. The thought of having to wait even longer is daunting, and you just wish for the line to move faster. You might even feel a sense of unfairness, wondering why it's taking so long even though there's just one person ahead. In summary, there's a long and seemingly endless waiting period with just one individual standing in front of you, which can truly test one's patience.
