Review of Sara’s Brunch
James Anderson
The eating desk was unclean, the staff continuously omitted to prepare my meal (I requested for pasta bolognaise and the lady confirmed that it was okay since there was one more portion left. However, after enduring a lengthy wait, she had mistakenly given my dish to another customer and had the audacity to insinuate that the mishap was my fault). Consequently, I decided to request a panini, but they overlooked my order once more and prioritized serving the customers who had placed their orders after me. Ultimately, I received my panini, but shockingly, the cheese wasn't even slightly melted - a clear deviation from the standard preparation of this dish. Moreover, despite advertising themselves as a tea salon, my companion was simply handed a disposable paper cup filled with hot water and a solitary teabag. This was not at all what we expected. In general, the establishment demonstrated a complete lack of seriousness and the organisation was appallingly poor. The experience was subpar and we were disappointed with the service. Furthermore, the apparent lack of communication among the staff members was a glaring issue, contributing to the overall chaotic atmosphere. In addition, the lack of attention to detail, such as the unclean tables and the incorrect preparation of my panini, showed a clear disregard for the customers' basic expectations. The situation was made worse by the staff's inability to handle our complaints appropriately, which only served to exacerbate our dissatisfaction. This supposed tea salon could certainly benefit from some improvements, particularly in terms of staff training and overall organization.
