Review of Restaurant Ryodo

Last week

Last week, we made a journey to Ryodo, accompanied by a companion who had previously had the pleasure of visiting. The aesthetic was truly striking, and we were greeted with the utmost warmth and hospitality. Regrettably, the experience did not quite meet our expectations, and we found ourselves less than enthralled, particularly considering that we were dining in a Michelin starred establishment. To add to our disappointment, there was an unfortunate confusion with our bill, which, to their credit, the staff promptly rectified. However, this did little to improve our overall impression of the evening. On a more concerning note, my friend experienced some digestive discomfort the day following our meal, leading us to suspect that something we consumed at Ryodo may have been the culprit. In conclusion, and with regret, I have to say that I would not choose to return to Ryodo. The fare, while no doubt prepared with skill, simply did not justify the steep cost. I have been fortunate to enjoy superior culinary experiences at other establishments, without such a hefty price attached. Therefore, despite the restaurant's undeniable charm and the staff's commendable efforts to make our evening enjoyable, our experience at Ryodo was unfortunately not one that left us eager to return.
