Review of Restaurant Phenicia
Samantha Miller
I had the pleasure of partaking in the evening buffet for €35 in the company of a couple of friends. As an individual of Arab descent, I can vouch for the fact that the food was exceptionally good. 1. The starters and soup, also known as Mezza, were quite satisfactory and freshly prepared, though the hummus and mutabal were a bit more liquid than they ought to have been. Ideally, they should possess a thicker texture. 2. The primary courses were very appetizing. We had Mlukheya with chicken and eggplants with beef. Both dishes were quite enjoyable. 3- The desserts were generally good, with one variety being particularly delicious. However, the other three kinds were simply satisfactory. They could certainly improve their selection of sweets. 4- The mint tea was quite good, although I believe that tea or coffee should be a standard inclusion with the buffet. 5- The service was extremely friendly and pleasant. The team members were incredibly welcoming and amiable. Additionally, the restaurant was kept in a pristine condition and had a very appealing traditional ambiance. In conclusion, our experience at the place was thoroughly enjoyable and we would highly recommend it. Furthermore, I appreciated the authenticity and quality of the food offered, as well as the warm hospitality of the staff. The only minor issue was the consistency of certain dishes, but that didn't take away from the overall positive experience. The combination of the delicious food and the delightful atmosphere made for a memorable evening. The place is definitely worth a visit if you are in search of good quality Arabic cuisine.
