The bistro is quite pleasant

The bistro is quite pleasant, yet the customer service is appalling, devoid of any greetings, dishes flung onto the table; an experience that certainly makes it my first and final visit. The staff seem to be more engrossed in binge-watching TV shows on their mobile devices, which is slightly disheartening. The coffee shop's atmosphere is quite agreeable, although the service provided leaves a lot to be desired. With an absence of basic courtesy such as a simple 'hello', and the disrespectful manner of tossing plates onto the table, it's safe to say this was indeed a one-time visit. The service crew appear to be more interested in their cell phone screens, catching up on their favorite series, which is mildly depressing. The eatery certainly has a nice ambiance, but the quality of service is far from satisfactory. There's a lack of welcoming gestures, and the manner in which dishes are haphazardly dropped onto the table is off-putting. This has been my first encounter with such service and will definitely be my last. It's somewhat disappointing to see the staff engrossed in watching their favorite TV shows on their smartphones instead of attending to customers. In a nutshell, the bistro's environment is appealing, but the subpar service is a significant letdown. The lack of polite greetings, coupled with the disrespectful act of tossing dishes onto the table, certainly warrants this visit as my first and last. It's a tad dispiriting to observe the staff engrossed in their cell phones, presumably watching an episode of a series, rather than focusing on providing good service.
