Bad experience

Bad experience... supposedly my partner had a lot of tartar and it was necessary to do scaling every 6 months. Besides, the scaling was very painful, but apparently it was precisely because of the tart... Since then, my partner has seen 4 other dentists (all in the same practice) and all said that there was no problem with excessive tartar, and that scaling every 12 to 18 months was sufficient. And strangely, scaling is done less frequently but is no longer painful at all. Sorry, but in all honesty this really sounds like abusive billing!
