Review of BANGKOK Thai - Brasserie
John Smith
The cuisine was of good quality, however, the customer service was severely lacking. The woman who was responsible for taking my order and delivering my meal was preoccupied with her own reflection, applying cosmetics in the mirror as she inquired about my beverage of choice. It is inappropriate and unacceptable for an establishment with an Asian culinary theme to serve their tea in bags, let alone charging a preposterous fee of 3 Euros for such a service. The customer service is abysmal, and their tea offering is not up to standard. In the midst of this, it is also worth mentioning the lack of professionalism displayed by the staff. Their behavior can only be described as unprofessional and discourteous. The woman who had the responsibility of taking my order, instead of focusing on her task, chose to engage in personal grooming activities while interacting with me. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any customer service situation. Furthermore, it is completely out of place for an Asian restaurant to serve tea in bags. Tea is an essential part of Asian culture and it should be treated with the respect it deserves. Serving it in bags not only shows lack of knowledge about the culture but also a lack of effort in providing authentic Asian experience. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to charge 3 Euros for such a poor service. This is not just a case of overcharging, but it also shows clear disregard for the customers. The poor quality of the tea coupled with the exorbitant fee is simply not acceptable. In conclusion, the service provided at this establishment is below par. The tea served is not up to the mark and the behavior of the staff is inexcusable. It's a pity because the food was actually quite enjoyable. However, the overall experience was ruined by the poor service and the inappropriate way in which the tea was served.
