I have visited this particular hair salon numerous times throughout the previous three years. The last three occasions upon which I went, my haircut was botched in one way or another, and it wasn't a minor thing - it was glaringly obvious. The salon staff who were supposed to take care of my hair often appeared impolite, except if I was accompanied by my mother. 🤔 (whose haircut they also spoiled previously) The most recent time I visited, the hairstylist seemed to rush through the entirety of my haircut, despite the fact that I was practically the only customer in the salon. On several occasions, she asked me if I was content, and I had to instruct her to trim some longer strands of hair shorter on one side because the disparity was painfully evident, and the task was performed as poorly as a 7-year-old attempting to shave a head. Finally, after the fourth time of asking the hairdresser to rectify the glaring mistake, I gave in, handed over a ridiculous sum of money, and completed the job at home. It appears that the women working there only exert their utmost effort for older, potentially affluent clients and don't feel compelled to maintain a certain standard of professionalism towards younger customers, even though we all pay the same cost. Furthermore, I have curly hair and every time I’ve requested that they leave my hair in its natural curls and not straighten it, I would leave the salon looking like a disheveled rug. I would anticipate that hairstylists from such a costly establishment would know how to manage curly hair a little more proficiently… Nevertheless, their repeated mistakes with my hair on three separate occasions, coupled with their poor attitude, have resulted in Dessange losing a customer for good. I would not recommend this place unless you appear wealthy and aged. 😁 This salon's repeated mishandling of my hair, coupled with their lack of professionalism, has left me extremely disappointed. I would strongly advise against visiting this salon unless you are, or appear to be, affluent and older. I find it regrettable that a salon of this calibre and price range cannot cater adequately to the needs of younger clients or those with different hair types, such as curly hair.
