It doesn't merit even a single star. I leased a vehicle through PwC from Arval Luxembourg SA, and it turned out to be the most horrendous experience for a multitude of reasons. Steer clear at all times and at any cost. The company is nothing more than a sham, demanding payment for 'scratches on the undercarriage of the vehicle' that surpass 2k EUR in cost. Upon returning the vehicle, I was aware that PwC staff who hired vehicles from Arval were frequently slapped with additional charges for non-existent reasons. Consequently, I took extra care to ensure the vehicle was in pristine condition, thoroughly cleaned, and meticulously maintained devoid of any scratches, even though the expectation of returning a vehicle completely free of minor damages is absurd. If not, they hit you with astronomically high charges. An employee from Carlife SA, a third party, came to collect the vehicle and dishonestly noted 2 "scratches" on the undercarriage of the vehicle, invisible from the exterior. Are we expected to fly the vehicle around like Aladdin? I am firmly convinced that these types of marks are unreasonable, unverified, and indefensible, serving the purpose of fraudulent misrepresentation to reap financial gains on behalf of Arval SA and Carlife SA because no other damages could be detected. This is the most egregious, contemptuous, and gross exploitation of consumers and vehicle lease fraud far beyond anyone's comprehension that I have ever endured. I had been driving the vehicle for 13 months and this undercarriage protection was supposed to shield the vehicle, not the other way around. How is anyone expected to repair it if it's meant to protect the bottom of the vehicle..?! This situation is a prime example of how Carlife, in collaboration with Arval, endeavored to manipulate, defraud, and hoodwink their customers, profiting far beyond what these customers pay as a monthly rental fee.

Up to this point, I am exceedingly dissatisfied with their rental agreements. It appears to me that they are deceptive manipulators, levying grossly exaggerated surcharges for minor damages. The conditions of their contract are incredibly disadvantageous, and their insurance is stingy. I am currently strategizing to terminate my agreement with them. I fervently advise you to steer clear of this organization at any price! Not only do they impose excessive charges for insignificant damages, but they also take advantage of their customers with their unreasonably high insurance premiums. Their rental agreements are formulated with such complexity that it becomes difficult to understand all the nuances and hidden clauses. You may end up paying much more than you initially anticipated due to their concealed charges. Their customer service is also not up to par, often providing unhelpful and unsatisfactory responses. This, coupled with the unfavorable terms, makes dealing with them a frustrating experience. I find their business practices to be unethical and misleading, to say the least. It is my strong opinion that this company does not deserve your trust or business. I encourage everyone to be cautious and do their due diligence before getting involved with such organizations. I regret my decision to enter into a contract with them and am making plans to withdraw from it at the earliest opportunity. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of avoiding this company at all costs!

Heed Carefully Being a North African, you are denied the privilege of voyaging to Morocco, Algeria, or Tunisia with your Arval leased vehicle, despite shelling out approximately 850 euros monthly. They will assert that their intention is to provide superior service, however, it's worth noting that Arval France and Arval Belgium permit travel to Morocco, Tunisia, or Algeria. Contemplate exploring alternative leasing firms prior to putting your signature on any agreements... Nonetheless, it's essential to understand that in this scenario, you're not merely a customer paying a significant sum of money every month, you're also restricted in terms of your mobility. The limitation of not being able to drive your leased car to North African countries such as Morocco, Algeria, or Tunisia seems rather unfair, especially considering the fact that you're parting with a hefty 850 euros each month. Interestingly, while you're being told that this restriction is a part of their commitment to delivering better service, it's quite contradictory to see that Arval's branches in France and Belgium do not impose the same restrictions. They allow their customers to travel to these North African countries without any hindrances. Given this peculiar situation, it would be wise to consider other leasing companies before making a commitment. Make sure to explore all your options and understand the terms and conditions thoroughly before signing any agreements. Remember, it's not just about the cost, but also about the freedom and flexibility that comes with your leased vehicle. And, in this case, it seems like Arval might not be the best choice.

A communication intended for Algerians, Tunisians, and Moroccans: if you encounter ARVAL, retreat immediately. Arval Luxembourg rigidly disallows your journey to Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco. They abstain from granting travel permissions, unlike other car leasing organisations within Luxembourg, such as LeasePlan, LeasingPrive, Athlon, and KBC Lease, among others. When dealing with Arval, you are obliged to part with 700 euros each month for leasing, yet they prohibit your travel to your homeland using the leased car. If it were feasible for me to bestow less than one star, I wouldn't hesitate to do so. There is an abundance of alternatives for you to consider, including LeasePlan, KBC Lease, LeasingPrive, Athlon, and many others. These companies offer more flexible and inclusive services that respect your travel needs and personal circumstances. Remember, it's essential to research thoroughly before committing to a leasing contract. This way, you can ensure you're getting the best possible deal, and can avoid unnecessary restrictions and high costs. Knowledge is power, and in this case, it can also save you a considerable amount of money and stress. If you're in Luxembourg and trying to find a satisfactory and affordable car leasing service, don't hesitate to explore all available options. Check out customer reviews and ratings to get a feel for each company's reputation and service quality. This will help you make an informed decision that suits your specific needs and budget. In conclusion, don't let companies like Arval limit your freedom and mobility. You deserve a leasing service that respects your rights and accommodates your needs. So, remember - if you see ARVAL, think twice before engaging.

In the past, I have leased a vehicle from Arval on two separate occasions. Unfortunately, on both occasions, I experienced significant difficulties where their support was less than satisfactory. Here are the details of each incident: Incident 1: - My vehicle became immobilized in Germany - In an attempt to seek assistance, I took photographs, made a call to their designated helpline, and sent a plea for help - The Arval representative I communicated with was unable to send any form of assistance, instead suggesting I seek help from a local farmer - The location where my car broke down was a remote area in Germany with no visible farms in the vicinity Incident 2: - With the approach of a new season, I was looking to change my winter tires on the newly received car - I reached out to Arval to verify if the tires were already available at a garage - Furthermore, I requested a list of Arval’s partner garages so I could take my car to an approved location - They provided me with the list and reassured that my car was brand new - After driving to one of the garages, I was told otherwise THE GARAGE’S RESPONSE: Your car is not new and it already has tires at another location. You will have to schedule an appointment at their garage as we cannot transfer tires for temporary vehicles... next available appointment is 03/12 and I received this news on 07/11 ... I have lodged multiple complaints with Arval, however, I’ve yet to receive a response despite it being nearly two weeks and despite sending a follow-up reminder. Based on my personal experiences, I would not recommend Arval due to the quality of their services. I am seriously considering not engaging in another leasing agreement with them due to these reasons. However, it is worth mentioning that the employees at Arval possess a commendable level of kindness.
