In the past

In the past, it was customary for us to visit at least twice a month (two grown-ups, two children), and our in-laws also made it a point to visit at least once every month. However, our most recent visit to the eatery was marred by an unfortunate incident. Our young daughter became sick and vomited, despite the fact that we'd only been there for a mere ten minutes and hadn't even started our meal. Consequently, we made the decision to depart posthaste. We were billed for two adult meals, two children's meals, and four drinks, amounting to a total of 108€. Their justification for this was that they needed to clean up the mess. We would have been entirely understanding if we had been charged for just one adult and one child's meal. However, being charged 108€ simply because they had to tidy up is nothing short of audacious! We have vowed never to set foot in that restaurant again! Not only did this experience leave a sour taste in our mouths, but it also prompted us to reconsider our usual dining options. Moving forward, we will be exploring other restaurants that value their customers and treat them with the respect they deserve. In retrospect, it's clear to see that some establishments prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. This incident served as a stark reminder of that fact. Despite our previous regular visits, this restaurant failed to show any understanding or sympathy for our situation. Instead, they chose to impose an exorbitant fee on us, under the guise of cleaning costs. This has certainly been a lesson learned the hard way and one we won't soon forget.
