Regrettably, the meal was delivered about 45 minutes beyond the stated arrival time and everything had cooled down by the time it reached my front door. The beverages were nowhere to be found either. The young man who delivered was full of apologies, which was very commendable, but it ended up being a waste of 37€ as I was left with no choice but to discard the food. Adding to this unfortunate series of events, it was clear that the delay in delivery had affected the quality of the food. The intended warmth and freshness of the meal had disappeared, leaving behind a disappointing and unappetising sight. The absence of the expected drinks added to the general sense of dissatisfaction. The delivery agent, a young man, was evidently sorry for the delay and the missing items. He kept expressing his apologies repeatedly, a gesture that was indeed praiseworthy. Despite the fact that his sincerity was evident and appreciated, it did little to salvage the situation. The unfortunate outcome of this experience was the sheer waste of money. Having spent 37€ on the meal, it was with a heavy heart that I had to discard it. The food had deteriorated to a state where it was no longer edible, and keeping it would have been pointless. The whole episode was not only a waste of money but also a waste of time and anticipation. The joy of expecting a delicious meal was replaced with frustration and disappointment, a truly regrettable experience.
