Contacted to schedule a meeting to set up a foreigner's bank account. Was instructed to do it over the internet. Attempted to do it online, but it failed to function. Reached out again to arrange a meeting. Once more, was advised to try it on the web. It still refused to operate properly. Made another call to firmly assert that I require a meeting. Was again told to use the internet for scheduling an appointment. Subsequently, I made an attempt to organize a consultation to inaugurate an overseas resident account. I was directed to execute the process on the internet. Despite my efforts, the online system did not cooperate. I made another phone call to book a consultation, and yet again, I was guided to proceed through the online platform. Unfortunately, the system continued to malfunction. Persistently, I rang up once more, stressing the urgency and necessity of my request for a consultation. However, the response remained the same, instructing me to use the online system to book the appointment. Despite the repeated attempts, the process remained unfulfilled due to the non-cooperation of the online platform.

Were it possible for me to do so, I would assign a rating of zero out of five to this service. The staff at the organization is exceedingly disagreeable and inhospitable, making interactions difficult and unsatisfactory. They fail to offer any meaningful assistance, regardless of whether one reaches out to them over the phone or makes the effort to visit the agency in person. The service is of an extremely low standard, and my most recent visit served as the convincing factor that compelled me to consider transferring my business to a different banking institution. Moreover, the level of professionalism exhibited by the employees has been consistently disappointing, with their approach to customer service proving to be unhelpful and discourteous. Their inability to provide substantial support, either when contacted telephonically or visited physically, has left me with an unfavorable impression of their work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction. The quality of service is appallingly subpar and my experience during the last visit was the final straw that convinced me of the need to change my bank. In addition, the unaccommodating demeanor of the staff members, coupled with their failure to offer any form of useful assistance, has resulted in a truly disappointing customer experience. Their lack of efficiency and effectiveness, whether in telephonic communication or in-person interactions at the agency, has painted a bleak picture of the service they offer. The service is of such poor quality that my most recent encounter with them has unequivocally persuaded me to move my banking needs elsewhere.

Avoid conducting banking activities with ING in Luxembourg. The degree of inadequacy in their service is shocking, their organization is in shambles. The simple task of opening an account took half a year, necessitating three trips to the bank, the installation of three separate apps, and a video conference call. It's almost incredible to think that a bank could be this inefficient. The amount of time and effort that you have to put in is just ridiculous. It's almost as if they don't want you to open an account. They put so many unnecessary obstacles in your way, it's like trying to navigate through a maze. Their system seems to be designed to waste your time rather than to provide a smooth and efficient banking experience. Even after you've managed to open an account, the challenges don't end. You'd think that the hard part is over, but you couldn't be more wrong. The customer service is atrocious, with representatives who seem to be completely out of touch with the realities of modern banking. The lack of efficiency, the sheer disorder, the terrible customer service, it all adds up to a banking experience that is far from satisfactory. It's as if they're going out of their way to drive customers away. So, unless you enjoy frustration and inefficiency, steer clear of ING in Luxembourg. In the world of banking, there are certainly better options out there.

I wholeheartedly concur with the adverse remarks made in this forum, particularly those referring to the Strassen branch. My spouse and I have been patrons since we first set foot in Luxembourg in the year 2017, and we have conducted a substantial amount of business with them. The consultant we interacted with initially was courteous. However, their demeanor has taken a peculiar turn when the subject of a student loan for me was broached: they displayed an unambiguous air of superiority and belittlement, even the person at the front desk was not spared. Astonishingly, she seemed to ridicule my surname while conversing with me on a telecommunication device! We are seriously contemplating making a transition to a different banking institution. Additionally, the level of customer service provided was not up to par, failing to meet our expectations. We often felt neglected and as though our concerns and needs were not being addressed in a timely manner. I was also surprised by their lack of professionalism, especially when discussing financial matters of such importance. The overall experience has left a bitter taste in our mouths, making us question our loyalty to this bank. Moreover, their behavior was not only disrespectful but also unethical. We were not expecting such treatment from a reputable institution like this one. Their conduct was not at all reflective of the high standards we had initially associated with them. The dismissive attitude towards us has greatly affected our banking experience. We, therefore, feel that it may be in our best interest to consider other alternatives for our financial needs. This is not a decision we take lightly, but it seems to be the most rational course of action given the circumstances.

Steer clear of investing your funds in that financial institution! It will be an impossible task to withdraw it again. They will not entertain you face-to-face, they will not offer any resolution over the telephone, and they will not permit you to execute any larger transactions, absolutely none. You'll find yourself entrapped and manipulated by them until your demise. This is a significant alert! Furthermore, in their hands, your financial freedom will be significantly restricted, if not entirely obliterated. Consequently, their uncooperative and uncompromising attitude will leave you helpless. It will be a futile exercise trying to make any headway with them. Every effort you make to regain control of your finances will be thwarted by their stringent policies and procedures. They will unapologetically keep you locked in a perpetual cycle of financial frustration and helplessness. Your pleas for assistance will likely fall on deaf ears as they continue to prioritize their profitability over your financial wellbeing. Not only will they refuse to offer you any form of assistance, but they will also actively work to prevent you from taking your money elsewhere. This is undoubtedly an egregious situation you should want to avoid at all costs. Always remember, it is your hard-earned money. You should have absolute control over it, not be subjected to the whims and fancies of a financial institution that does not have your best interests at heart. Consider this a strong warning!
